Our lives are so full of information, and sources of information, that's it is easy to get overwhelmed by it all. While all of the noise can be overwhelming, it can also serve as a way to connect in ways that have been impossible before now. With the advent of the internet, emails and now facebook and twitter, we can be connected with people over the miles and even through the years. My own facebook has allowed me to reconnect with important people in my past as well as many people that are in my present! The use of Twitter has allowed me to learn from people I've never met. Sometimes I hear of needs for prayer, often I hear of new technology that can be used in ministry and sometimes I just laugh!
If you've not connected yet, think again. You're reading this blog which means you are connecting. But let me invite you to facebook and twitter. You can then join a group called "Friends of Church of the Holy Apostles," and even follow me as I post what I am doing and what I'm working on Twitter.
I know it can be overwhelming, but it is also a tool that can be used to reach more people. So what don't you connect and see how you can reach out to people in a very interesting and often entertaining way.
